MTM Transit is pleased to announce that the Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) has selected it to operate a portion of the agency’s Access-a-Ride Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit service. Following a competitive bidding process, RTD chose two vendors to operate the Access-a-Ride service, as well as a third vendor to operate its FlexRide demand response service. Under the contract, which goes live on July 1 and holds a term of three years plus two one-year options, MTM Transit anticipates performing 25% of Access-a-Ride service. 

Access-a-Ride is a shared ride public transportation service for those who are unable to use RTD’s fixed route bus and light rail services due to a disability or limiting condition that impacts their ability to access the system. Services are available to eligible passengers in Boulder,…
